Exploratory Student Recognition

The exploratory teachers believe that recognizing students for achievement, social skill, participation and improvement is important. Below are two recognition programs that are used.

"GOOD NEWS" cards – Weekly the exploratory teachers send home these post cards to parents sharing neat things that their son/daughter did in class. These may also be used in conjunction with our "Student Stars" program.

"STUDENT STARS" – Bimonthly teachers choose students from each class that exemplify positive characteristics or have shown great improvement. These names are posted in the teacher’s classroom and a "good news" card is sent home.
