Register for Media Communication and Production for 2018-2019
Students of all grade levels have the opportunity to learn about the world of media production in Waubonsie Valley’s Media Communication and Production course.
Students who register for the year-long class will get the chance to use professional-grade cameras and computer editors to create a wide variety of projects, such as commercials, short films, news stories and music videos.
This college dual-credit course, in conjunction with the College of DuPage, is a survey of Mass Media designed to provide students an introduction to the various forms of media, such as radio, television, film and online media. Students will also develop media literacy and the skills necessary to create productions in a changing media environment.
Student work is engaged with viewers throughout the world, on the school’s Web site, YouTube Channel, Twitter, Instagram and its weekly video news magazine, Warrior Update.
Students who are interested in registering can sign up for course number TEE 1014 on their course selection page online or speak with a Waubonsie Valley High School guidance counselor. For more information, contact Brian Wiencek (630)375-3248, e-mail at email@example.com, or stop by Room 246.
