POSTPONED: IPEF Back to School Bash
Reported by firstname.lastname@example.org on 7/16/18.
The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation (IPEF) is postponing its Back to School Bash planned for August 25. The postponement was decided after the IPEF learned its executive director will be leaving at the end of July to work for another organization.
IPEF Board Chair Rana Khan said until a new executive director is in place, the members of the volunteer organization need to focus on other key areas, including Team IPEF. "We have a record number of runners this year, more than 500, representing Team IPEF in the Naperville Marathon. We want to make sure all our runners are supported and have everything they need to be successful."
Team IPEF runners raise funds for designated schools. In the past four years, runners have raised more than $480,000 to support programs throughout Indian Prairie School District 204.
Khan said a rescheduled date for the Back to School Bash will be determined after an executive director is hired.
